Addition: Special Resolution 2:
- The position of Past President be formally added as a voting member of the executive of the Yukon Fish and Game Association.
- The Past President shall serve in this position until a new President is elected and shall havethe following responsibilities:
- Providing guidance and mentorship to the President and Vice President.
- Offering institutional knowledge to support decision-making processes within the executive.
- Assisting in leadership transitions and ensuring continuity in strategic initiatives.
- Participating in executive discussions and decisions as a full voting member.
- In the event that the President is unable to fulfill their term, the Past President shall temporarily assume presidential responsibilities until an Acting President is appointed by the Board.
- The inclusion of the Past President as a voting executive member shall be effective after the vote of the members at the 2025 AGM , ensuring this role is integrated into the governance structure of the association.
- Be it further resolved that the bylaws and constitution of the Yukon Fish and Game Association be amended to reflect this addition to the executive.
