Event Overview:
Join the Yukon Fish & Game Association (YFGA) for our annual Wolf Creek Fry Release Event—a hands-on, family-friendly opportunity to engage in local Chinook salmon conservation efforts.
What to Expect:
- 11:00AM: Arrive at the Wolf Creek Campground and get ready for a great day with activities suitable for all ages.
- 11:30AM – 12:30PM - BBQ: Enjoy a free lunch on us while we wait for the fish to arrive!
- 11:30AM – 1:00PM - Educational Activities: Walk around and visit the educational tables. Learn about Chinook salmon from First Nations and a variety of organizations that are committed to Chinook salmon conservation.
- 1:00PM - Fry Release: The fry will arrive at 1:00PM. Assist in releasing Chinook salmon fry into Wolf Creek.

- Admission: Free and open to all ages.
- What to Bring: Appropriate outdoor clothing, water, and a sense of adventure.
- Parking: Limited parking is available at the Wolf Creek Campground. Please consider carpooling or being dropped off and picked up. We would like to reduce traffic congestion as much as possible. Please follow all road signs and follow the speed limit as there will be many children at the campground for this event.
