EVENT NOTICE: Public Meeting on Proposed Wildlife Act Regulation Changes

When: Wednesday, November 27 from 7:00 to 10:00pm

Where: Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre

Why: There are a number of new changes to the Wildlife Act Regulations being proposed this year. YFGA is hosting this public meeting on the proposed regulation changes to provide all hunters and anglers with the opportunity to provide input. We highly value the opinions of our members and are looking for your engagement to make sure our positions reflect our membership. These proposed regulation changes would have serious impacts on hunters and anglers throughout the territory, and it is our responsibility to make sure your voices are heard.

What to expect: The Department of Environment will be presenting a summary of the proposed regulation changes at the beginning of the meeting. After this presentation, we will take some time for input from members to help YFGA develop our positions on the various proposed changes.
