Family Fishing Day - annual event held at Fisheye Lake in Faro (March 2005), Pine Lake in Haines Junction (April 2006), and Wrong Lake in Mayo (April 2004).
For the last few years, Family Fishing Days are being held at Pine Lake in Haines Junction, and at Lake Laberge near Whitehorse.
We set up our “Fishin’ Hole” for the kids, sell fishing licenses, free prizes, give aways, cook hotdogs, provide fishing expertise, and generally enjoy the day. YTG Conservation Officers are on hand to provide TIPS promotional material.
We usually hold 2 family fishing days each year.

Yukon Fish and Game Association will be holding our annual Whitehorse Family Fishing Day on Sunday April the 18th at Pine Lake Lebarge campground. It will take place at the Lake Leberge campground from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
There will be lots of giveaways, advice, hot dogs, beverages and cake as well as prizes for kids. The holes will be predrilled and there will be fishing licenses available.
The Haines Junction Lions are our partners in this event.
